Originally the Crispin.and Crispianus. C16 timber framed building, altered
in the C18 but preserving the overhang of its 1st floor on a bressummer. The
1st floor plastered, the ground floor roughcast. 2 storeys. 6 windows facing
High Street, 2 windows facing Strand Street and 1 window in splayed angle.
Sash windows, glazing bars intact.
The Barbican, No 4 (Crispin Inn) and Nos 4 to 12 (even) Strand Street form a group.
