Formerly Plummers Farm.
A C16 timber-framed farmhouse of the half-H plan. The north side has
been rebuilt in red brick and grey headers on the ground floor but the
timber-framing with plaster infilling is visible above. Gable with bressumer
and scalloped bargeboards. Casement windows including 2 original oriel
windows projecting on brackets on the 1st floor with their original diamond
panes. The east front, which is the main front, has been refaced with
weatherboarding on the ground floor and tiles above in the C18. Eaves
cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars intact. Flat hood to door.
The interior has a staircase dated 1671 with balusters and ball finial.
Plummers House & Oasthouse form a group.
