Mid C12. Removed from the site of Lambe's Chapel in Monkswell Street and reconstructed
in the remains of the west end of the south aisle or nave of the church. Said to have formed
part of the Hermitage of St James on the Wall. Now reduced to 2 bays with candystick rib
vault supported by richly carved capitals on short shafts.
