Late C19. Long, timber pentice with back wall of glazed brown brick incorporating
seat and memorial tablets. Front beam inscribed "In Commemoration of Heroic self-
sacrifice". Ornamented tablets of glazed terra cotta. Central statuette of G
F Watts (by T H Wren) who founded the Memorial. Listed as a curiosity.
