ST PAUL'S CHURCHYARD EC4 1. 5002 Tower of former Church of St Augustine [Formerly listed as remains of Church of St Augustine Watling Street (Old Change)] TQ 3281 SW 9/214 4.1.50. I 2. 1680-87 and 1695, by Wren. Plain, Portland stone tower in 3 stages with pierced parapet topped by 4 obelisks and lead-covered lantern and shaped spire. Pedimented door to south. Exposed rubble walling to east. Spire reconstructed after World War II. Tower abuts new Choir School in place of destroyed church,
