Pump House Circa 1868. (altered) Probably by Bazalgette and E Cooper in similar
style to Pumping Station, 3 gabled bays with 2 bay return. Yellow brick with red
and blue brick and stone dressings. Slated roof. East bay with semi-circular headed
recessed panels each containing three narrow round headed sash windows. Polychrome
voussoirs. Foliated stone impost bands. Stone coped parapet. Delicate wrought
iron finials to each gable. Cast iron rainwater heads and barley sugar pipes forming
corner shafts. Listed mainly for group value with main pumping station.
