Mid C18. Yellow brick with stone coped parapet. Roof not visible. 3 storeys,
4 windows. Gauged flat arches to recessed windows with glazing bars, Wooden
doorcase with panelled reveals, moulded architrave and cornice on shaped side
brackets. Premises adjoin Great Synagogue.
Stone tablet above windows has inscription "London Hebrew Talmud Torah Classes
for Jewish children" and date etc. Tablets above inscribed in Hebrew.
Nos 57 & 59 form a grup with the Great Synagogue & Nos 1 to 39 (odd),
Nos 2 to 20 (even) Fournier Street, Christchurch and the Ten Bells Public House,
Commercial Street and No 2 Wilkes Street.
