5/201 stable block to NW of Lock
Cottage, Old Ford Lock.

Former stable block. Early C19, C20 alterations. Brick, with asbestos roofs. 2,
single storey ranges on sloping site. Lower range has buttressed south-east corner
and 2 doorways with plain lintels. Taller range has 2 similar doorways with a
single, cambered arch window and a larger, later window with plain lintel, in
between. Regent's Canal 1812-20, constructed by James Morgan, supervised by
John Nash. Included for group value.
