SJ 4086 ALLERTON ROAD L18 43/60 No. 442 (Hoarwithy 14.3.75 Lodge) (formerly listed as Hoarwithy) G.V. II Lodge. 1865. Sir G. G. Scott.Rock-faced stone with ashlar quoins and dressings. One storey, T-plan. End has canted bay window with hipped slate roof and 1:2:1 lights with roll moulded surrounds and shouldered lintels. Lean-to block in rear angle and porch with hipped roof on round column in front angle. Gable to road has 2-light window in segmental- headed reces's, quatrefoil over. Glazing has some lattice panels. 3 tall stone stacks with caps. Built as Lodge to Cleveleys (now demolished).
