BOMERE HEATH C.P. MYTTON SJ 41 NW 5/98 Mytton Bridge (that part - in Bomere Heath C.P.) - II Bridge. Early C19. Tooled dressed red sandstone. Elliptical arch with raised keystone. Flat string course to parapet. Wing walls curving out to circular end piers. The bridge carries the Mytton/ Forton road across the River Perry. The circular end piers are similar to those on Telford's Montford Bridge (q.v.). Anthony Blackwall, Historic Bridges of Shropshire, Shropshire Libraries, p. 26.
