House. Circa 1816, East front altered mid C19. Architect Richard Carver for Daniel Blommert. Rendered over rubble,
hipped slate roof overhanging eaves, soffit board with slender brackets, rendered stacks centre and to rear. Double
pile. 2 storeys, 2:1:2 bays, first floor 12-pane sash windows, ground floor 15 pane sash windows, centre bay breaks
forward slightly containing ashlar sandstone 3 bay Greek Doric screen with pilaster responds, approached by flight of 3
marble steps, recessed C20 half glazed door, side lights with marginal glazing bars, and fanlight all in Adar style
with frieze and dentil moulded cornice above. Right return, 3:1 bays, dentil moulded cornice, quoins, full height
canted ashlar sandstone bay left, first floor 12 pane sash windows, groundfloor 15 pane sash windows with glazing bars
only on inner face of glass, tripartite window right, all in lugged surrounds, lower independently roofed 3-bay service
wing to rear. Interior: restored late C20, moulded plaster cornices, imported fireplaces, late C17 style panelling in
