ST 61 43 SHEPTON MALLET COOMBE LANE (East side) Bowlish 6/84 No 16 (previously listed as Nos 14,15&16) 20.5.52 - II the address shall be amended to read: ST 61 43 SHEPTON MALLET COOMBE LANE (East side) Bowlish 6/84 Nos 14 & 16 20.5.52 - II ------------------------------------ ST6143 SHEPTON MALLET CP COOMBE LANE (East side) BOWLISH 6/84 No 16 (previously listed as Nos 14, 15 & 16) 20.5.52 - II House. Circa 1700, C18 alterations. Rubble construction, rendered, brick chimneys, modern pantile roof, dressed quoins. Symmetrical lobby entrance houses. Central doorway, with square head bolection moulded surround. Later wooden hood on acanthus leaf enriched stone scroll brackets. Flanked by window each side in moulded stone architrave. Similar fenestration on first floor, all containing C19 sashes with glazing bars, with the exception of one 2-light moulded mullion window. Gabled wing to rear contains further moulded mullion windows, some with moulded cornices.
