Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, forecourt walls, gate piers and gates. Dated 1839. Chapel of random rubble, ashlar gabled
facade, slate roof with ridge at right angles to frontage. Plain appearance. Two storey front, 2 bays to ground
floor; semi circular head sash windows with gothicised glazing bars, keystones and imposts; single similar opening of
lesser height in centre of gable. Above incised stone plaque:- "Wesleyan Methodist Chapel 1839". Central architrave
door opening surmounted by a pediment on brackets, double-3 panelled doors. Complete interior including pulpit on dias,
pews, and gallery with pierced cast iron frontage incorporating a clock. Walls to forecourt of rubble with a dressed
coping; pair of central ashlar gate piers with moulded caps; paired gates with plain cast iron railings.
