Church. 1854. Coursed, squared, red sandstone rubble masonry, white limestone
dressings, moulded plinth, quoins, patterned tile roof. Early Middle Pointed
style. Nave with 3-bay North aisle. South porch, moulded ashlar plinth, pointed
wooden arched arcade carrying crown post gabled roof with bell cast patterned
tiled roof. 3-stage crenellated tower West end with stair-case turret; vestry in
North East corner with capped stone chimney projecting at angle. 2-light windows
with 3-light at East end and in North aisle. Interior: rendered. 4-centred arch
arcade with octagonal moulded piers. Simple mid C19 fittings. Crocketed bishops
chair, mid C19.
