ST02SE BATHEALTON CP 6/11 Bathealton Court 25.1.56 GV II Country House. Circa 1766, probably incorporating earlier dwelling, remodelled circa 1850. Render, quoins, moulded cornice, slate roof, rendered stacks. U-plan facing South, North wing demolished 1960's. 2 storeys with attic, flanked by single storey bays, 1:2:3:2:1 bays; sashes with glazing bars, moulded architraves, ground floor centre window pedimented, those flanking with console brackets; gabled dormers; entrance left single storey porch with strapwork parapet, outer bay right has balustrade and window. Facade remodelling of Circa 1850. Interior: Adamesque plaster ceiling first floor left, staircase hall bolection moulded ceiling with roundels containing shells and putti, barley sugar twist staircase, late C18. Other rooms ground floor simply panelled mid C19.
