Church. C13, remodelled 1871 by C.E. Giles. Red sandstone rubble masonry with
Ham stone dressings, tower rendered on lower stage, tiled roofs with ridge
tiles. 3 bay nave with North aisle and vestry, South porch, West tower, rood
stair turret South side. 2 stage C13 tower with crenellated parapet and angled
buttresses, small lancet window South side, West side 2 light plate tracery
window, late C19 as are the 3 light South and East windows, latter with small
inserted rose window, and 2 light window in vestry and at West end of aisle,
Interior: rendered. 3 bay arcade with C13 octagonal piers, moulded capitals (one
renewed) and double chamfered arches. Round font on pedestal. Altar rails are a
low stone screen, like the pulpit and other fittings Circa 1871. Backs of 2 end
pews incorporate C15 carving from earlier pews. East window by C.E. Kempe, 1911.
