Gazebo. Late C16. Red sandstone ashlar, pyramid slate roof. Set in the angle of garden walls. One storey over basement,
3 bay arcade with 3 bay arcade return. Central opening approached by steps, round headed with lozenge frieze surround,
similar on flanking arcades, frieze of triglyphs and lozenges, crenellated parapet. King post roof with struts.
Flanking red sandstone random rubble wall, about 4 metres high extending about 30 metres to left and 50 metres to
right. Probably used for alfresco dining, an unusual survival.
