NEDGING WITH NAUGHTON HEDGING ROAD 1. 5377 Church of St Mary TL 9948 52/842 23.1.58 I 2. A small C13 and C14 church with buttresses. The C14 west tower is of flint and stone with a castellated parapet and diagonal buttresses. The nave and chancel are faced in cement. The north and south doorways have late Norman ornamentation. The nave roof is C14 with braced cambered tie beams with crown posts with moulded caps and bases. There are some fine poppyhead bench ends. Graded for its architectural and historical value.
