TQ 05NW BOROUGH OF WOKING HORSELL COMMON 6/79 Walls, Corner Pavilions and Entrance Gate and gate piers to Moslem Burial Ground II Walls, corner pavilions and entrance gate of Moslem burial ground. 1915 by T.H. Winney. Brick with stone dressings and domes. Rectangular c100 foot by 120 foot, walls c8 foot high on plinth, stone coped with piers at 15 foot distances. Corner pavilions, square with diamond shaped stone plaques embossed with flower, domed polygonal turrets above. Square pavilion entrance to the west side. c20 foot high on stone base, moulded brick bands to corner piers, deep eaves on corner brackets with stone dome to the top; metal finish to dome now fallen over. Ogee entrance arches with decorative stone band and palmettes to either side. Rear left corner pier has inscribed foundation pier "T.H. WINNY,A.R.I.B.A/ASHBY AND HORNER BUILDERS."
