1890 by Sir Arthur Blomfield. Large red brick church without a tower. Red tiled
roof with moulded stone coping to gable ends. Nave, north and south aisles, chancel,
polygonal west apse, chapel south of chancel. Lancets and plate tracery to brick
windows, tall clerestory of stepped triplets of lancets. Spacious red brick interior
with open timber roof, arcade of moulded brick pointed arches, circular brick piers
with moulded stone capitals.
