LACOCK HIGH STREET ST 9168 (north side) 4/94 No 19 20.12.60 GV II House, mid C18 refronting of earlier timber-framed range, ashlar with stone slate roof. Two storeys, 3-window range of 12-pane sashes in raised moulded surrounds, 3 to first floor and pair under cornice to ground floor left. Similar pair to ground floor right has had one window replaced by half-glazed door. Centre door in chamfered surround with hood on fine scrolled brackets. Door has inserted clock, installed 1887 when house was Post Office. Interior not inspected. (N. Pevsner, Wiltshire, 1975, 290)
