ST 55 NW COMPTON MARTIN C.P. MAIN STREET (south side) 5/87 Symes monument in the churchyard about 3 metres south of south G.V. aisle of Church of St. Michael II Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Flat top with gadrooned edge, quarter balusters with gadrooned tops, moulded plinth, oval inscription panel to south with urns and torches in spandrels, inscriptions mostly worn away, only name Symes legible.
