2. PUBLOW STANTON LANE (south side) 5120 PENSFORD ST 66 SW Guy's Farm SP 834 6/834 II Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18 with C19 fenestration. Rubble, double Roman tile roof, three C19 brick stacks, two of these on coped verges. Near-symmetrical main block, with projecting stair turret at rear; attached lower out-building to right gable, and lofty lean-to at left gable. Three storeys, 3 windows. At ground floor are one 12-pane sash and 2 margin bar sashes; at first floor 3 margin bar sashes, and under eaves 3 very small 2-light casements. Left gable has 2-light casement to attic. Between bays 2 and 3, up short flight of plain stone steps, a part-glazed C19 panelled door. A very small plain glass fire or stair light between bays 1 and 2. In the left extension, at first floor height a 2-leaf plank loading door; the return of this lean-to has a panelled front as if to a formerly open storage space. Lower wing, right, has a broad plank door and a 2-light wood casement, beneath a 2-leaf plank loading door which breaks through the eaves line and has a raking roof. Interior not inspected, but may be of interest.
