BRISTOL ST6276 BLACKBERRY HILL, Fishponds 901-1/30/1262 (North side) 25/04/90 Glenside Hospital Lower Lodge, gate piers and perimeter wall to S and W (Formerly Listed as: BLACKBERRY HILL, Stapleton Glenside Hospital) GV II Lodge and perimeter walls. c1861. By Henry Crisp. Snecked, squared Pennant rubble with limestone dressings and slate roof. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Segmental-arched windows with 6/6 sashes. Dwarf walls with spear railings. Entrance piers with tooled half-round caps, and hospital perimeter walls with similar copings. Part of the Bristol Lunatic Asylum, now Glenside Hospital (qv).
