STAFFORD SJ92SW BASWICH LANE, Baswich 590-1/2/113 St Thomas Bridge (that part in the Borough of Stafford) II Bridge over River Sow. c1800. Ashlar. Elliptical arch. Arch has voussoirs which extend to abutments and parapet abutments swept forward with channelled rustication and end octagonal end piers; top roll-moulded band and plain coped parapet. Cast-iron boundary plate dated 1934 with Stafford borough arms and lettering: TOWNSHIP/ OF/ HOPTON/ &/ COTON to left and: BOROUGH/ OF/ STAFFORD to right. Part of this item is listed in Hopton and Coton Civil Parish, Stafford District.
