1. 823 ABBEY CHURCH YARD No 14 ST 7564 NW 19/4 12.6.50. I GV 2. (Marshal Wade's House) circa 1700. House is attributed to Lord Burlington 1730 but it is probably earlier. 5 fluted Ionic pilasters embrace 1st and 2nd floors in the Palladian manner, surmounted by fine entablature. Above is attic storey. Ground floor cut away for early C19 shop front, altered. Carved swags between the 4 double hung sash windows and glazing bars of the 1st and 2nd floors. (See also Nos 13 & 14 CHEAP STREET) Nos 6 to 14 (consec) Abbey Church Yard, Nos 13 & 14 Cheap Street, No 3 Stall Street, the Grand Pump Room and Abbey Church form a group.
