1. 823 MILSOM STREET (East Side) 14.7.55. Nos 37 & 38 Nos 39 & 40 14.7.55. Nos 41 & 42 (Somersetshire Buildings) ST 7465 SE 14/233 I 2. Nos 37 to 42 (consec) comprise Somersetshire Buildings. Architect, T Lightholder, 1762. Middle and end houses project and have Corinthian order through 1st and 2nd floors. End houses have pediments. Central segmental bow goes to full height of building. Central windows have entablatures with decorated friezes. Crowning balustraded parapet. Ground floor originally arcaded and rusticated. Middle house is said to have magnificent ceiling.
