1. NORTH PARADE PASSAGE 823 (OLD LILLIPUT ALLEY) No 4 ST 7564 NW 19/31 12.6.50. II* 2. Sally Lunn's house. Mediaeval house on Roman site. Passage elevation shows good masonry with thin even courses. Gables. 4 storeys. Pairs of double hung sash windows and glazing bars. Continuous dripmoulds, Similar treatment to No 5. Front originally faced northwards towards Abbey but is now restored and faced with slates and modern windows. This building was part of Duke of Kingston's House 1480. Sally Lunn was tenant in 1680 and Ralph Allen's first post office was here in 1725. There is C18 shopfront and "Hanoverian" arch inside.
