1. THE AVENUE 823 COMBE DOWN (West Side) ST 7562 37/970 Nos 1 and 2 Park Place II GV 2. Circa 1820-30 pair of 2 storey ashlar faced houses, 1st floor sill band, moulded shallow cornice, parapet, Gable end slate roofs. Tall corniced chimneys. 2 windows each to both floors, chamfered reveals, no glazing bars to sashes, No 1 has enclosed mid C19 ashlar porch with panelled flanking pilasters, panelled frieze moulded cornice and blocking course raised to front in shallow block pediment. Marginal glazed lights to double door. No 2 has inner panelled and glazed door with radial glazed fanlight and 6 panel front door with reeded stone cornice hood on cut brackets. nos 1 to 3 (consec) Park place form a group.
