1. BATHWICK HILL 823 (South Side) Combe Royal ST 76 SE 4/998 II 2. Jacobeathan ashlar faced house set in large garden. Foundation stone dated 1815 though appears to be more of circa 1820. 2 storeys and attics. Steep pitch gable end slate roof with grouped octagonal chimneys. Weathered string between storeys, weathered coping to parapet. North and south fronts have 2 gabled bays with parapet carried up in shaped gables with openwork finials. 2 light stone mullioned-transomed windows, drip moulds. 2 storey shallow canted stone mullioned bay windows beneath right hand gable on south front. West end has full height canted bay with gable and set back one window section. Entrance on north front with stepped gabled porch - 4 centred arched doorway. Slightly lower 2 storey service wing to east.
