1. BATHWICK HILL 823 (North Side) Uplands ST 76 SE 4/757 II 2. Circa 1830-40 3 storey painted ashlar house, set well back from road with entrance to North Road as well. Moulded stringcourse over 1st floor, moulded cornice'and parapet with dies, Low nipped slate roof. 3 window west front with central 2 storey canted ashlar bay, entablature, one window to front. Cornices on console brackets over 1st floor windows. Recessed glazing bar sashes. The right hand bay breaks forward slightly and the return to south front is bowed out with 2 of the 3 windows on this elevation. Balustraded double curved terrace in front of west elevation. Blocked porch with Ionic columns and pilasters in antis, and deep entablature abutting the south front at right angle, in screen wall. Entrance on North Road has panelled door with cornice hood on console brackets.
