1. LANDSDOWN ROAD 823 (East Side) Royal School ST 76 NW 1/1354 II 2. 1856-8 by James Wilson. Large rock faced building in the Decorated style. 2 storeys and steep pitched gable end slate roof with attics. Off centre buttressed tower with porch at foot. Colonetted 3 light windows to top storey. Pierced balustraded parapet with stair turret crowned by spirelet. Broad gabled bay next to tower with large 1st floor oriel and octagonal tourelle adjoining to left. Gabled end bays to asymmetrical straight side range. Large south east extension of 1886 by Habershon and Fawckner, with tall 4 storey canted bay.
