Sundial shaft and plate. Dated 1682. Monolithic chamfered
gritstone shaft and oversailing moulded capital, square base
and plinth, overall height approx 1.5m; small octagonal bronze
or copper plate with worn inscription: 'UT HORA SIC VITA' ('as
an hour so is life').
