A C16-C17 brick and stone house incorporating a mediaeval timber frame.
The north front is now plastered and the south front has mediaeval stonework.
2 storeys and attics. 3 window range on both north and south fronts,
C20 casements, the windows on the north front have glazing bars and stucco
hood moulds. Roof tiled, steeply pitched, with stopped gables and 3
gabled dormers on the south front. This building is included in grade
I because of its close association with the mediaeval hospital remains.
No 1 (St John's Farmhouse), Dovecote, Wall & barns to the north and south west
of the farmhouse, Nos 2 to 20 (even) & Nos 2 to 12 (even) & No 16 (West End PH)
West End form a group.
