SJ 46 SE WAVERTON C.P. EGGBRIDGE LANE (South Side) 2/18 Victoria Mill (or The Mill) II Formerly steam-powered canalside corn mill, now shop and storage, early-mid C19 with mid C19 addition. English garden wall bond orange brick with Welsh slate roof. Stump of large brick chimney at south-east angle. 3-storey and attic, 4-bay front. Dentil brick cornice. 2nd bay projects under gable and has a board door to a loading bay on each floor with pulley arm above uppermost. To either side, bays have semi-circular headed small-pane iron casements, with 3 central panes hinged. Right end bay is lower with corrugated iron roof. Simpler small-pane windows and in right gable, bays to load canal boats direct. Interior: Cast iron columns and I-beams support floors. No machinery survives except one shoot. Large corrugated iron additions to rear not of special interest.
