CATHEDRAL CLOSE 1. 1092 Church of St Martin SX 9292 NW 3/8 29.1.53 GV 2. Mostly C15. Heavitree stone with slate roofs. Small transeptal tower with stair turret. Chancel arch may be older than the rest of the church. Ceiled waggon roof. C17 monuments, some brought from St John's, Fore Street. Late C17 reredos and altar rails. All the listed buildings in Cathedral Close form a group.
