ST84NW BERKLEY CP WARMINSTER ROAD 8/122 Berkley Lodge - - II Lodge to Berkley House (qv). Mid C18. Coursed rubble Doulting stone with Doulting stone ashlar quoins. Slate covered, hipped roof with lead covered ridges and a central brick stack placed diagonally with two diagonally set brick flues. 2-storeys with central entrance door under a porch with hipped slate roof and lead covered ridges supported on timber post in the cottage over manner. Single storey outshut to rear in random rubble Doulting stone with slate roof and stone copings. 3-window front to drive. Generally C19 casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. Pointed arch window over entrance and similar window opening in end wall with "Y" tracery. Ashlar jambs, stone lintels and timber cills. Door set in pointed arch, vertically boarded with studs and iron furniture. Modest ground floor extension to West of limited impact.
