Road bridge over the River Avon. C16. Squared rubble stone in form
of a long causeway with a single small arch spanning the stream.
One very large stepped buttress on south side, probably
contemporary. 5 smaller, later buttresses on north side. Parapet
walls with truncated pyramidal coping, and off-set on outer side,
about lm high on south side and .75m on north side. Originally
marked boundary between Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and letters G
and W are marked on north parapet above stream.
