Windmill tower. c1820. Tarred red brick. Tapered round tower of
4 storeys. Plinth. Ground floor has blocked door to south, partly blocked
door to north, damaged windows to east and west. 4 windows each to first
and second floors, pair of windows to north and south sides of top floor.
All openings with segmental arches, some damaged; some windows with
sandstone sills. Fragmentary cornice. Interior contains pair of damaged
fireplaces to ground floor, with the flues passing through the wall to
emerge in small square vents at second-floor level. Surviving internal
fittings include beams for 3 floors and dust-floor, central wooden shaft,
2 sets of French stones, and a grey bedstone from a third set on the second
floor. All floor-boards and roof missing. Went out of use c1915. Derelict
