House, now local authority hostel.
Built 1881-82, extended 1891. Red brick with red tiled
roof. 2 storeys with attic, 4 bays, 3rd bay breaks forward
under timbered gable. Drip mould over ground floor and top
billeted frieze and eaves. Windows have lintels and are
sashed with glazing bars to upper sashes. 1st bay has
hipped dormer; 2nd bay has gable roof dormer. 3rd bay has
entrance porch with glazed lean-to structure. Tall brick
stacks. Entrance hall has fireplace with Jacobean style
over mantel.
