ST54NW ST CUTHBERT OUT CP EASTON 10/106 Church of St Paul II Anglican Church. 1843 by Richard Carver. Coursed and squared rubble, pilaster buttresses, Lombard frieze, slate roof, coped verges, gabled ashlar bellcote. Nave, transepts, chancel with vestry. Neo-Norman. Nave of 2 bays, tall and narrow semi-circular head windows, nook shafts, hood moulds with foliate stops; similar triple-light window to west end. Transepts in conforming style of a single bay. Chancel with large 3-light east window in style of c1200. Semi-circular head west doorway, 3 orders of shafts; vestry with well modelled neo-Norman doorway with chevron ornament. Interior plastered under arch braced roof; broad semi-circular head transept and chancel arches. Mid-late C19 fittings including pews, font, pulpit, reredos, altar rails and stained glass.
