1878-81 by R H Carpenter. Gothic. Rock-faced masonry walls. Slate roof. Nave,
chancel, north and south aisles. Large west tower with corner buttresses rising
to pinnacles, embattled parapet and pyramid roof, 2-light belfry. Lancet windows,
paired lancets to aisles, triple lancet to east end. South-west gabled porch.
Chancel decoration of 1899 by Hardman and Co.
