1897. Metal frame structure with a corrugated asbestos roof, and glass and
corrugated iron panels, latter filling the clerestory to south. Moulded eaves
and verge board. Raised louvred upper section to roof. Ten bay aisled hall;
glazed gable end to west (ground floor filled in) with wide semi-circular fanlight
to now blocked doorway). Wide fascia at aisle head level painted "Radstock
Market". East gable stone with ball finial. Central 4-way clock with ornamental
belfry over. South aisle has pedimented entrance, ground floor bays divided
for shops.
Clerestory to north retained.
Interior: the works of the clock a feature of the west end.
