ST 56 SE CHEW MAGNA C.P. CHEW STREET (north side) 3/34 Fowler monument in the churchyard about 23 metres south G.V. west of tower of Church of St. Andrew II Headstone. Early C19. Limestone. Round-topped stone. Inscription to William Fowler "shot by an Highwayman on Dundry Hill June 14th 1814 aged 32 years". Included for historical interest.
