Forecourt walls, railings, gates and piers. Late C18 with C20 repair. Walls in
sandstone rubble with limestone coping, limestone ashlar front wall and piers,
cast and wrought iron railings and gates. Rubble walls about 3 metres high
extending from each side of The Beeches (q.v.) about 17 metres to south, ramped
down at front to square pier, with plinth, rusticated, with shaped cornice and
top; doorway with segmental head in wall to left. Front range has low ashlar
wall (largely reconstructed) extending about 20 metres, topped by spear-headed,
wrought-iron railings; similar gates to left and right, set back from front range
of railings.
