3/66 Methodist Chapel

Methodist chapel. Mid - late C19. Random limestone rubble with stone dressings,
hipped slate roof with brick eaves stacks and crestings. Irregular plan. Gable
end projecting to left has Venetian window with keystone, stone surround recessed
from wall, circle in glazing bars at top, applied timberwork in gable end,
bracketted eaves, bargeboards and finial, bellcote on ridge; to right, round
headed window with similar glazing bars, attached porch to right with double door
and sidelights, similar gable end. Right return has porch block continued at
ground floor, with 3-light window with flat stone mullions and plate glass sashes,
gable with bargeboards and finial; 2 round-headed windows with splayed glazing
bars above; left return has 2 similar round headed windows. Rear has door and
2 round-headed windows, to left with metal replacement glazing bars, and door;
rear of porch has similar 2-light window. Interior: not inspected.
