Late C16 mansion, reduced from three to two storeys in the C19 and
subsequently modernised. Coursed limestone rubble, old clay tiles on hipped
roof. Double gabled wing attached at rear and overlapping central external
stack. Front elevation has eight mullion and transom casements of 3 and 4
lights with glazing bars; a plinth and a first floor band. Two doorways with
four-centred arches, carved spandrels and moulded surrounds. Original
chimneys attached to the rear elevation have been retained at reduced heights.
There are also some rear windows with original hood moulds, and indications of
attachments for demolished buildings at the south east end of the main range.
