BRISTOL ST5578 HALLEN ROAD, Henbury 901-1/20/1349 (East side) 08/01/59 Sundial to the middle of the green at Blaise Hamlet (Formerly Listed as: HALLEN ROAD Sundial at Blaise Hamlet) GV I Sundial and pump. 1815. Pennant and limestone ashlar. Square plan. Plinth with a lion head and water pipe, over a Pennant basin; chamfered square shaft with a lantern head, sundial to one face and heraldic panels to the others, and a bronze flag on the top. Erected by JS Harford Jnr as the centrepiece to Blaise Hamlet, and part of this important essay in picturesque design and planning.
