Farmhouse, now a public house. Dated 1674, probably incorporating an earlier
structure. Rubble with freestone quoins and dressings; double Roman tiled roof
with coped raised verges and ashlar end stacks. 2 storeys, cellar to left and
attics in 3 gabled dormers. 4 bays: mixture of 2-, 3- and 4-light casement
windows in ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds and under dripmoulds; relieving
arches over the larger windows; one glazing bar sash window to left; 2 blocked
windows on first floor. Central studded plank door; moulded surround with
4-centred head and date in sunken spandrels; under flat stone hood on brackets
and dripmould. Interior: Cross-passage; moulded beams and cornice to ground
floor left room; chamfered beams and 4-centre headed fireplace to right room;
doorways with ovolo moulded surrounds.
