1. QUEEN SQUARE 823 (North Side) Nos 21 to 27 (consec) ST 7465 SE 14/36 12.6.50. I 2. Houses with 3 storeys and attic and 3 windows. Rusticated basement, Corinthian order enclosing 2 storeys with crowning cornice and central pediments. Middle house and 2 ends project forward and latter have attic storey. Windows on Inn floor have alternate triangular and segmental pediment heads. lst floor sills have all been lowered. Fine band of impost mouldings runs across elevation between openings at level of tile door to window heads at ground floor. No 24 has 5 windows (John Wood died here May 23 1754). No 27 has fine staircase with elaborately curved open string and twisted balusters.
